I need to build an sma/sma 30" cable with a minimum of 90 db isolation at 3ghz; 100db would be better. RG316 is about 35 db, RG316DS is about 55-60db; what cable type will get me to 90-100db?

Thanks,

You need to get away from woven shields. I think semi rigid is the only way. Even then, the contacts (especially the outer conductor) will need to be very clean to obtain this degree of isolation. The mating sma connectors have less isolation than this especially if the center conductor is epoxy cross captivated. (You can use silver epoxy over the captivation epoxy to improve the isolation. ) in practice 100db is difficult.
