Video Links

Below we will put together a list of video content links on microwave engineering content  that are "liked" by Microwaves101 staff for your continuing education. Please note that we are not going to compete with YouTube for video content, the best we can hope for here is to organize available videos and provide commentary from subject matter experts. Perhaps we'll provide a "micro-webby" award one of these years if we can put together a way to vote for your favorite video! Hopefully in the near future we will add a navigation button to the home page to arrive at video content.  Feel free to weigh in on whether or not you find videos useful, This email address is being protected from spambots. This series is on power amplifier design, suggested by Charles (thanks!)

This power amplifier design content along with the free workspace downloads have been extremely popular.  The author (Matt Ozalas) was a PA designer at Skyworks for many years and he does a great job of going through the technical material.  The workspaces provide a great jump-start for designers.

 Enjoy!

James Rautio videos

Dr. James (Jim) Rautio is well known in the microwave community as the #1 expert on (and fan of) James Clerk Maxwell.  Jim is perhaps the most entertaining speaker in the microwave community today.  If you ever get the chance to see Jim talk about Maxwell, don't miss it.  Bring your entire family, they can give the Food Channel and KUWTK a rest.

Jim Rautio also contributed our content on Maxwell's Equations.

Transport back in time to learn about James Clerk Maxwell

Here's two more videos by Jim Rautio. The first one contains the long version of Maxwell's story:

Jim Rautio on the Life of James Clerk Maxwell, Nanyang Technical University, 04 November 2005, ~87 minutes

The next video dives into electromagnetic theory:

Jim Rautio on Electron-magnetic Theory, Nanyang Technical Univeristy, 04 November 2005, ~34 minutes
