On this page we introduce Dr. Norman C. Grody, who provided a free book about building radimeters. The book seems like an engineering notebook full of practical advice, escpecially if you are trying to build a radiometer in a budget. It includes three designs covering 4, 12, 20.5 and 22.2 GHz bands. In addition to building Dicke radiometers, the book describes their analysis and applications to measure the earth's surface and atmosphere from both ground-based and satellite platforms.

Norman Grody has has 16 atrticles published by IEEE (https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/author/37353725200), two SPIE papers (https://spie.org/profile/Norman.Grody-56634?SSO=1), and more than 50 articles in books and other peer-reviewed journals.
